Dear Mr. Roenigk:

In answer to your letter of December 22, American Aid to France looks after the office and paperwork and trucking to the steamer for relief shipments to France. All ocean freight and railroad transportation in France are paid by the French Government, the railroad expense in France being reimbursed later, out of counterpart funds of E.C.A. In any case, the people of Feves do not have to pay anything.

I hope this is the information you wanted and thank you again for your gifts to Feves.

Sincerely yours,

(handwritten) Germanie Wilson
