Through the courtesy and kind permission of �Operation Democracy, Inc.�, I am writing to you with the purpose of aiding your committee make your monetary contributions go further in the purchase of food to relieve the distressing conditions overseas.

We are wholesale grocers selling all types of foods and are in a position to prepare food packages according to your specifications.

Our convenient location in Metropolitan N.Y. permits us to service your committee with free delivery of food purchases either in bulk or specified packages to your designated relief agency whose warehouse in located in N.Y.C. It is my understanding that a great need exists for bulk rice, milk (evaporated and powdered) and cereals which we stock in quantity. The saving to your committee in trucking, freight rates, packaging and transit losses can be converted into more food, faster service through our free delivery. We are one of the largest independent wholesale sellers and distributors established for 60 years with a reputation of reliability and service.

All you have to do is send us a letter, specify the grocery commodities requested; how it to be packed; to whom to deliver; and within 48 hours it shall be dispatched to the designated agency with sufficient information to their receiving clerk to duly acknowledge receipt to your committee. We have followed this procedure with a number of National Relief Organizations whose committees function everywhere. This is [a] low cost operation and service for you which is readily converted into more food.
