Mr. Jacques Rimey
French Commercial Attache
Chicago, Illinois
Dear Mr. Rimey:
I am writing you for some information in regards our adopted town of Feves, France.
We want to send some money to the mayor and school teacher for the purchase of a projector which they can use in their
school. Rather than ship an American-made projector, we thought it would be better to send the money and let them purchase
either a French make or a German make, where they could get any repairs that would be needed in the future.
What are the restrictions on sending money (gift) to your country and if there are any restrictions, is there any way we
could get around them in this case of a gift for educational purposes.
Awaiting your reply, I beg to remain,
Sincerely Yours,
(No signature)
