Miss Velma Carson
Morganville

Dear Velma Carson and Dan Roenigk:
We are still very deeply appreciative of your many kindnesses to us during our visit. Things have been going very well at
this end and the definite time for the series is now scheduled for Saturday evening at 7:00, beginning December 9. We of
course do not yet know for sure the date for the Morganville broadcast but we think it will be the Saturday before
Christmas. We will shortly send you some folders announcing the whole series.
We have received a recording from Arvid Jacobsen and we shall shortly complete a final piece with the Utleys through the
Kansas City NBC station.
I have listened to the French tape and we will certainly use some of the music, childrens voices, etc., and possibly a
sentence or two of what the mayor said in English. All the tape seems to have come out splendidly.
We also interviewed Lafe Todd here and they are thrilled at OD that we have gone ahead and produced the show.
I will be in touch with you, of course, from time to time. I am going to Arkansas this next week. With all good wishes.
Very sincerely yours,
