Dear Sirs:

Please pardon the delay in replying to your communication of September 23rd and note that you are interested in forwarding to your adopted town of Feves, France and that you are in the market for boxes of candy.

During the Christmas holidays, we do considerable business here in New York and some exports on our Royal Scarlet hard mixed candy, packed 20 lbs containers, bulk. Our price is 21� per pound.

We suggest that if our offer is satisfactory, that you also purchase some small knocked down Christmas boxes with ribbon handles at a cost to you of 1 1/2� per individual empty box. This box holds from 8 to 12 oz. of hard candy. You could ship the bulk candy and send boxes along and your people on the other side could arrange to repack and distribute.

In addition, we also have what we call Royal Scarlet Christmas Stockings, packed 48 - 3 oz stockings to the case, stockings filled with gum drops, which we offer at $3.60 per case.
