An Opportunity to be Better - Documents

29 September 2017

Good morning, Art. Its nice to hear from you. I looked at our database and it looks like we funded the grant project in 1992 with its completion in 1994. The project directors name is Kay Salts. However, unfortunately we have no contact information for Kay.

The original grant proposal submitted to our organization is now archived at the Kansas State Historical Society. In addition, the grant file should include the final report that was submitted at its close. Usually final reports include a narrative that says what was accomplished and how it was accomplished.

If you want to access the grant file, you will need to make contact with the state archives and inquire about the files for the Kansas Humanities Council. The grant was number 92316MJ which shows that it was awarded in 1992. Im not sure how they archive the material at KSHS, but it would likely be filed by year or by number. The name of the proposal was Beyond Our Rim: Morganville, KS, Feves, France and UNESCOs Marshall Plan 1948-1952. Youll definitely want to tell them that it is in the Kansas Humanities Councils records (aka Kansas Committee for the Humanities).

I hope this helps!
