Darling,
Oh dear! That poor little boy - I mean those poor parents - why dont children mind?
The gray suit came and was too wide even for me. It must have been size 16 fat girls shop. I sold it to Mrs. Millikan to
go with her pretty red coat.
So, shall I send the green wool? Its been cool enough here to wear it the past week or so. Indeed I will mail it tomorrow
and you can take your choice.
I want to go to New York. There are many reasons, one of which is that I have to have a lump taken off my eye lid as soon
as I can get an appointment. Its growing - Another is that I may leave anyhow this fall to go someplace to work. Another
is the UNESCO pageant which got put off until the 27th.
I am sitting here working over an article that wont gel - for about the fifth time. I know it has good material but the
thing wont polish.
In between times Im fitting costumes, seeing people, listening to eager actors pretend to be reluctant and attending to a
thousand details.
Mamma is feeling quite well again and working to show up her lazy daughters.
We seem to have house guests every few minutes. Edith Babb was here over the weekend. Arthur is drinking himself to
death.
You can go east if you can do it on your money and I can make up a little for you -
It will be wonderful to see you for a few minutes again. I love you my baby very dearly -
