Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce held its regular meeting last Thursday evening. Orville Young, president, presided at the business meeting. There was a report on the free movies, given Wednesday nights and Rev. H.E. Millikan made an announcement about the UNESCO program which will be at the church the last Sunday of this month. A number of guests were present. Among them were Rev. and Mrs. Millikan, Velma Carson, Mrs. Leo Mellies, Mrs. H.L. Oetinger, Mrs. E.S. Henry, Mrs. D.J. Roenigk, Florence Ruffner, and F.E. Steffen. Committee of W.S.C.S. served a fine dinner preceding the meeting. The committee was composed of Mrs. Clifford Rundle, Miss Elizabeth Ruegg, Mrs. Richard Stewart, Mrs. F.E. Steffen, Mrs. Donald Woellhof, and Mrs. Wm. Silver. Donis Lee Anderson and Rose Mina Oetinger assisted in serving.
