Mr. Henri Torlotting, Instructor
Committeeman; Feves-Morganville
Feves (Moselle), France
Dear Mr. Torlotting;
I received the beautiful wood carving in this mornings mail, which the town of Feves sent to us thru the American Aid to
France, Inc., from their Paris office. It came through in wonderful shape and it is really a beautiful piece of work, for
which we wish you to convey to the people of Feves who had a part in this gift, our most heartfelt thanks. It is something
which we will always cherish and keep. We intend hanging it in the high school building, as there it will be in a more
convenient place for the people to see. I wrote to the Paris office and to Mr. Louis Clamaron, director, telling him that
it had arrived in good shape. I will write you more at length, in a short time.
Sincerely,
Daniel J. Roenigk
Mayor
