Dear Cathy:

Thank you so much for sending me the script of the slide show about the Morganville pageant. It is an authentic piece of Ameicana. I read it with interest and nostalgia and then gave it to my wife, Jeanne, to read. (Her earliest memories are of Clay Center, where her father, C.R. Jaccard, was the county agent (we think) in the early 1920s. She does not remember much - falling out of the barn and not getting much sympathy from her two brothers, and running away with the family Airedale.)

I am asking my friend Richard Arndt, president of Americans for UNESCO, if his contacts in New York can find the WURL recording of the pageant and will be back in touch about that. Meanwhile, if the society has the money, you might look into having the script and the slides put together on a DVD.

I will try to find the Elmore McGee [McKee] book at the Georgetown. University library.

Many thanks again,

(Signed) Dick Parker
