Dear Dan,

I see by [the] Tribune that you are sending packages of seeds to our friends at Feves, France. So I am sending you a check to send one package for me. I am glad the people of Morganville are taking so much interest in this work. I have been visiting with Kenneth and Eileen and will go and visit with Josie a while before I come home. Kenneth says I am doing alright and that I will be able to come back to Morganville and stay soon as the weather gets settled. Sure will be glad as I miss everyone. You know that I am one of the old timers. It was 43 years ago on February 6 that I first came to Morganville and this has been the longest time I have ever been away. Tell all the boys hello for me.
