Dear Dan:

I have been trying to get a letter written to you the past three days but have been so darn busy with a lot of weather operations that I just couldnt get the job done.

Enclosed is the Air-Bill for the picture to Feves. I didnt have any trouble sending it at all. I had to sign your name and my name about 50 times on all kinds of documents, statements, etc. It took about an hour to just fix up the paperwork and the guy that did it is experienced, so you can just imagine the work involved for someone that isnt familiar with the different forms. I sent it as soon as I arrived in Kansas City. It arrived New York the next morning at 3:00 A.M. It left New York for Paris on Saturday, February 11 and arrived at Paris on Sunday so the people of Feves should have it now.

The total charges for shipping was $37.72 which, surprisingly enough, is just about what the estimate was. By the way, I didnt have to put the other name on the box. The way you had it fixed up was perfect.

I am not at a handy place to get a money order so I am enclosing $2.28 which was what was left over from the $40.00 check. I hope my subtraction is in good order.

Its almost mid-night so I will close for now. I am interested to know when the package arrived Feves and the condition it was in when you hear from them. Any time I can help you out on any deal like this dont hesitate to call on me.

Sincerely,

(signature)
