Morganville, Kansas

Dear Mr. Roenigk:

Thank you for your letter of January 26th. We think it is a fine gesture for your town to adopt a French Village.

We export seed to several countries, however, we have no customers in France and do not know exactly what French regulations are regarding seed. We suggest that you write the French Counsel, Denver, Colorado for this information. If you give him the name of the village, he can probably help you on what kinds of, seeds are needed. France grows many vegetables and they also export vegetable seeds. There may be some kinds that are plentiful and it would not be to your advantage to send kinds not needed. It may be that you are corresponding with someone in this French Village and this person could also help you on what kinds of seed to send.

As far as we know, the only necessary papers will be the regular Customs Declaration. A copy of our descriptive catalog is being mailed under separate cover.

Your further favors will be appreciated and given careful, prompt attention.

Yours very truly,

D. V. Burrell Seed Growers Co.
