Attn: Mr. Daniel J. Roenigk

Gentlemen:

May we thank you for your inquiry of January 4 relative to rates on your shipment from New York City to Feves, France.

We are happy to advise that we can handle your shipment over our CLIPPER CARGO Services. The rates are $1.09 per pound for shipments under 100 pounds and $1.82 per pound for shipments of 100 pounds or over from New York to Paris. The charges from Paris to Feves would have to go collect from the consignee. The rates quoted applied to weight pound or volume pound, whichever is greater, 200 cu. in. equaling one pound by volume.

The documents required to accompany your shipment are 4 U.S. Shippers Export Declarations, Commercial Invoice in duplicate, and Shippers Letters of Instruction in duplicate, the latter enclosed for your convenience. All documents should be placed in a strong manila envelope attached securely to the shipment and the envelope clearly marked DOCUMENTS INSIDE. You may address your shipment to us c/o Airport Cargo Manager, La Guardia Airport, Flushing, New York, and forward by whatever means you desire. We will forward same in accordance with your instructions. Your Airwaybill with a due bill attached will be forwarded to you from our La Guardia office, as charges must go forward on a Prepaid Basis. Charges to the gateway must be prepaid also.

We trust the foregoing will enable you to make your shipment without difficulty, but should you desire further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Very truly yours,

PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRWAYS
