1950 Noel Party

The 1950 Noel party held Friday night was one of the nicest ones. The high school gym was decorated especially with Christmas decorations and lighted tree making a perfect setting for the party. Dancing was the main entertainment and a beautiful floor show during the intermission of six numbers from the Rex School of Dance of Clyde and Clifton and one additional number. The costumes worn by the entertainers were lovely, adding much to the show. The program consisted of a tap dance, Sandra Hanson, �Boogie Beat�, �Powder your Nose with Sunshine,� Charlene Overstreet, �Eye Pencils,� by Andrewson and Roberts, �Freckles,� song and dance �Rube style,� by Jerry Donnelly, �Gypsy Tambourine,� by Sandy Russell; Ballet by Carole Turner, �Dearie,� song and dance by Joan Donnelly and Rex DeRusseau. The accompanists were Vera Walker of Idana for the first number and Dorla Andrewson for the remaining numbers. Mrs. Orville Young was in charge of the program.

Miss Anna Marie Roenigk showed colored pictures of her European tour in the study hall assisted by Wm. Roenigk. Orb Pierson and his orchestra furnished the music for the dance.

Donuts and coffee were served by Mrs. Geo. Young, Mrs. B.H. Ruffner, Mrs. Paul Fowler, and Catherine Young.
