Feves
3rd January, 1951

Dear friends,

It is several days since I was told the news that gave me such pleasure, the news of the check for $100 that you sent to us. We had $25.00 in a cooperative school fund and some solicited the village and collected $20.00 making $145.00. The schoolmaster asked surrounding people and received $43.00 so with $188.00 we will be able to buy a picture machine very easily. The instrument will enable us to get our lessons better and will show pictures to the people of Feves.

I close thanking you again with all my heart for your generosity and to all Morganville, I send best wishes for the new year 1951.

Dear friends;

I thank you for your check for $100.00. We already had a school fund of $25.00. We canvassed the village and collected $20.00 and now we have $145.00, and with this $145.00, we will buy the picture machine. To pass the evenings, the schoolmaster will show the pictures which will make us happy to see and will make the things we study very interesting. And in school when the schoolmaster has a lesson, he will set up the machine and show the picture. Just think of a small village like Feves having a picture machine, seems impossible, through the kindness of Morganville. I thank you again with all my heart, dear friends, and wish you a good and happy new year.
